Who We’re About

Our Mission

Who We're Committed To

New Hope Lutheran Church welcomes all people to experience the life-changing love of God in Christ through worship, love, and serving others.

We are a champion of mission work to the underprivileged and vulnerable in our community and beyond, including the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Family Promise of Fort Bend County, Armstrong Elementary, the Fort Bend Interfaith Community, and El Buen Pastor Iglesia Luterana in Usulutàn, El Salvador.

We are an ELCA Lutheran church in Missouri City, TX; southwest of Houston, and east of Sugar Land. We believe that the Good News of God is for all people regardless of their personal status, race, creed, sexuality, or any other label or condition that divides and separates people.

Music Ministry

New Hope's music ministry engages our community of all ages. For specific information about any of our ensembles or to learn about other musical opportunities that are available, please reach out. We would love to have your gifts in worship with us!

New Hope Lutheran Church is a special place. From its beginning New Hope has valued the varied and wonderful gifts of its individual members and used those gifts to enrich and magnify worship. A deep love of music and art is foundational to our congregation and we seek every opportunity to use them to enhance the ability of others to experience the timeless constancy of God's grace.

New Hope Organ

Parsons Pipe Organ Builders, Op. 25

The New Hope Organ

For the church, the organ represents many years of thorough study, prayerful planning and sacrifice, knowing that this is an artistic endeavor. Music inspires us to meaningful worship. It seems, in this time that we live, fewer and fewer people have the opportunity to provide a lasting symbol for future generations. Our congratulations to those at New Hope Lutheran Church who shared in this realization.

For Parsons, it is the culmination of years of research, design and development. Throughout the building process, each instrument develops its own unique personality which is completed only when the final pipe is tuned in its new home. We are privileged to have been a part in creating this instrument for your congregation to worship and glorify Jesus Christ by whose grace all things are established and accomplished.
