The Season of Creation is a new liturgical season called for by the World Council of Churches and signed on to by the Lutheran World Federation. For the next 3 weeks, culminating on Sunday, October 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, we will focus on our responsibility to creation, give thanks to God for all God has given us, and recommit ourselves to stewarding God’s creation well.

We openly and full-heartedly support, affirm, and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as racial and ethnic minorities, by preaching and promoting extravagant love, unconditional acceptance, radical inclusivity, and a wide and warm welcome, just as Jesus did during his ministry, to bring hope to those who have too often been pushed to the margins or even harmed by the church.
